Boating GPS · Marina arrival platform

From open water
to the right slip.

Navigate on official NOAA charts with your vessel on the map — then let the chart hand off to a detailed arrival view of the marina, docks, and your assigned slip.

The app is live in private beta — runs in your phone's browser, add to Home Screen for the full experience. On-page scenes are annotated where simulated.

How SlipLanding works

One continuous trip — chart to berth

Explore

Official NOAA electronic charts — depths, aids to navigation, rocks, wrecks, and contours — over satellite imagery, on your phone. Live

Navigate

Your vessel on the chart with filtered GPS, course, and speed. Waypoints, leg distances, bearings, north-up or heading-up view. Live

Arrive

Approach a participating marina and the chart hands off to Arrival Mode — docks, slips, and landmarks mapped in detail, your berth highlighted. Signature · live

Signature feature

Marina Arrival Mode

Charts get you to the harbor. Arrival Mode gets you to the slip. As a boater approaches a participating marina, the map transitions into a detailed orientation view of that marina.

  • High-resolution aerial view of the real marina layout.
  • Docks and slips labeled — no deciphering a dock diagram tacked to a piling.
  • Your assigned berth highlighted via a secure link the marina sends — no account needed, no shared credentials.
  • Perspective view — pitch the marina into a pilot's-eye view and rotate it to match your approach.
  • Marina landmarks — fuel dock, harbormaster office, transient tie-up, no-wake areas.
  • Arrival notes from the marina — where to check in, radio channel, depth cautions they choose to share.
  • Honest accuracy — estimated or unverified slip positions are flagged in the UI, never hidden.
An orientation aid, not an autopilot. Arrival Mode is a chart you can read at a glance — it does not replace approved charts, lookout, or judgment. SlipLanding will not fabricate depths, safe routes, or centimeter-precise docking guidance that the underlying imagery and GPS can't support.

In the app today

A working boating companion

Not a landing-page promise — the app is running in private beta. Every feature below exists in the build you can open right now.

NOAA nautical charts

Official ENC data — depths, aids, rocks, wrecks, contours — over satellite imagery.

Live

GPS position

Your vessel on the chart — filtered fix, course, speed, and compass heading where the phone provides it.

Live

Heading-up view

Tap the arrow and the chart turns to face where you're going — or keep it north-up.

Live

Waypoints & legs

Drop and drag waypoints; nautical miles, bearings, and leg detail as you build.

Live

Tides · currents · weather

NOAA CO-OPS measured tides and current predictions, NWS marine forecasts — sourced and labeled.

Live

Marina discovery

Harbors along the route — and for participating marinas, the real slip map.

Signature · live

Offline charts

Download the region before you cast off — integrity-checked, with honest status.

Live

Sea Trial mode

Opt-in GPS recording with replay and GPX/CSV export — built so real trips can be analyzed.

Live

Experimental routing

A route planner that checks itself against land, hazards, depth, and clearances — and refuses what it can't support.

Experimental

iPhone-ready

Add to Home Screen from Safari — no app store install needed. Android and desktop browsers work too.

Live

Turn-by-turn guidance

Deliberately off — underway direction ships only after on-water validation and independent review.

Roadmap

AIS & instruments

Boat-network integration is on the roadmap, not claimed today.

Roadmap

For marina operators

The platform side is
already built

Arrival Mode is powered by real marina maps — and the system that makes them exists today. SlipLanding gives marinas a living map of their own facility.

  • Interactive slip map — aerial + dock-chart views on any device.
  • Visual layout editor — place slips, draw piers, preview, then publish.
  • Slip, dock & vessel management — occupancy, assignments, transient stays.
  • Secure arrival links — text a guest a link; they land on their assigned slip, highlighted, with your arrival notes.
  • Staff roles & audit log — owner, admin, and staff permissions.
  • Your map, your site — embed it or link it from the marina's existing website.

Early access

Be first on the water

SlipLanding is in private beta — a working app, on the water today. Join the early-access list — boaters get invitations to test the navigation and arrival experience, and marina operators get guided onboarding for their own map.

  • Boaters — try the app and shape what ships next.
  • Marinas — get your facility mapped and ready for visitors.
